Recipes for Disaster
This series reconstitutes the process of documenting art class assignments into slippery forms of evidence. As breadcrumb-strewn pathways, the works suggest speculative versions of the art making process which might generate new outputs. Interpreted like musical scores and relayed like a children's game of "telephone," these elastic diary entries and sets of instructions morph according to each successive participant's reading and implementation of them. This body of work was exhibited in the City Gallery at San Diego City College in 2024.
